I loved the look of these boots. I usually wear size 39 - but they were so tall and so big that they just came off (and I dont have no small calves). Since they are no half sizes, I took size 38. It was still very tall and cut behind my knees when seated. So I had to take them to an expert cobbler. Paid 100$ to shorten them, so I could actually sit in them (Im 5.5"). They did a beautiful job. But the boots are still painfully uncomfortable - the leather is sooooo stiff! It is really too bad - spent a lot of money and loved the look, but can't wear them.
