WANT LES ESSENTIELS WARRANTY POLICY

All WANT Les Essentiels products purchased from our website, or an authorized retailer, are covered under a one-year limited warranty. This warranty covers any manufacturing defects that occur within one year of receiving your item.

Please note that we do not process warranty claims for products purchased from retailers. If your product was purchased from an authorized retailer and you believe it is defective, you must contact the retailer directly.

For items purchased through the WANT Les Essentiels website or retail store, please retain your proof of purchase and contact our customer service team by clicking here if you experience a manufacturing defect. Please note that damage resulting from regular wear and tear or improper care is not covered under this policy.

Products deemed defective under our warranty will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. When possible, WANT Les Essentiels will cover the cost of repairs either by refunding the original form of payment or issuing store credit. No cash refunds or wire transfers will be provided. If the product cannot be repaired, it may be exchanged or refunded for the same item in the same size and colour, subject to availability and at the discretion of the company.

Product care plays a large role in the practice of conscious consumption and is crucial to extending the life cycle of a product. Our items are designed for longevity and, if properly cared for, can last a lifetime.

PRODUCT CARE - GENERAL ADVICE

• Keep your WANT Les Essentiels products away from light to prevent them from fading.
• When storing your WANT Les Essentiels products, place padding inside to best maintain their original shape.
• If your WANT Les Essentiels products have gotten wet in the rain, place tissue paper inside and let them dry away from any sources of heat.

 SMOOTH AND GRAINED LEATHER

• Leather is naturally resistant to rain, so it is not necessary to apply a waterproof spray to your leather items. Regular maintenance with wax or balm is what keeps leather waterproof and maintains its shine.
• A clean, non-abrasive soft cloth or a soft brush can be used to dust off your leather goods.
• If your leather bag is dirty, you can use a clean, non-abrasive soft cloth with water to clean it: dab the area with the cloth and let it air dry.
• In case of stains, please go see a leather specialist. 
  
  

SUEDE AND NUBUCK 

• Before the first use of your Suede or Nubuck Leather item, apply a Waterproofing Spray to protect it against rain and stains.
• Shake and spray evenly from a distance of 20 cm, then let it dry for a few hours.
• For continuous protection, we recommend applying this spray every ten uses of your item.
• A clean, non-abrasive soft cloth or a soft brush can be used to dust off your leather goods.
• If your leather bag is dirty, you can use a clean, non-abrasive soft cloth with water to clean it: dab the area with the cloth and let it air dry.
• In case of stains, please go see a leather specialist. 

Suede and Nubuck Leather are delicate materials: therefore, avoid wearing your shoes, bags, and leather accessories in rainy weather or situations where you might stain them.

TEXTILES

• Before the first use of your Textile item, apply a Waterproofing Spray to protect it against rain and stains.
• Shake and spray evenly from a distance of 20 cm, then let it dry for a few hours.
• For continuous protection, we recommend applying this spray every ten uses of your item.
• A clean, non-abrasive soft cloth or a soft brush can be used to dust off your Textile goods.
• If your Textile item is dirty, you can use a clean, non-abrasive soft cloth with water to clean it: dab the area with the cloth and let it air dry.
• In case of stains, please go see a cleaning specialist.
